Pasadena Texas Shooting Dentist:

On Friday I left work early and headed into Houston to attend the NRA convention. It is funny when I go into “civilian clothes” at the office. Everyone is always expecting me in my scrubs. When I wear normal clothes I look out of place. Grabbed some fast food and I was off to Houston.

Wow, parking was a nightmare. Luckily I found a metered spot on the street. One quick parallel parking job and I was filling the meter with quarters.

The event was free for NRA members. I started as a Member, then upgraded to Life Member and finally Endowment member. While I was checking in with a volunteer, the volunteer asked me if I wanted to upgrade again. I went ahead and became a Benefactor member.

I want my daughters to be able to take up sport shooting if they want and I believe it is a “Bill of Rights” not a “Bill of Needs”.

Every Gun Manufacturer was there. Plus, all the accessories companies and firearm related companies. It was fun to look at all the cool products.

Dr. Nugent and Bob Vogel.

Vogel is a 2-time World and 12-time National Champion across 3 disciplines of pistol shooting. He is currently ranked among the best in the world. Lastly, he is a full time Police Officer and SWAT team member.

Bob was very nice and humble to talk to. He was a great guy. I’ll have to see if I can take some classes from him.

I had a lot of fun walking around the NRA Convention. Lots of cool stuff to look at and handle. I got home friday afternoon and took the girls our for a bike ride. The girls love to sit in their little trailer as I pull them behind my mountain bike. The girls have fun and I get some good exercise.
